Called to Defend. Committed to Restore.

Our Mission

Hamata Cares is a faith-based organization committed to ending child trafficking through the power of prevention and restoration. Guided by God’s love, we work to protect vulnerable children from exploitation and walk alongside survivors on their journey to healing and hope. Through education, advocacy, and holistic recovery programs, we strive to build a world where every child is safe, valued, and free. Our work is rooted in the belief that every child is created in the image of God and deserves to live a life of dignity, freedom, and love. We are called to be a light in the darkness, confronting evil with compassion, courage, and unwavering faith.

“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.”
Proverbs 31:8-9

Prevention Begins with Knowledge and Community.

What We Do: Prevention

Education & Awareness

We equip communities, parents, educators, and children with the knowledge to recognize the signs of trafficking and exploitation. Through workshops, school partnerships, and public campaigns, we bring the hidden realities of trafficking into the light and empower people to take action.

Community Outreach & Advocacy

We engage at-risk communities where poverty, instability, or lack of access to education can increase vulnerability. By partnering with churches, local leaders, and faith-based organizations, we build networks of protection around children and create environments where trafficking cannot thrive.

Equipping Gatekeepers

We train frontline individuals—such as teachers, coaches, youth workers, law enforcement, and church staff—on how to identify risk factors and intervene early. These “gatekeepers” are vital in disrupting trafficking before it takes hold.

Faith-Based Curriculum

We’ve developed a biblically grounded, age-appropriate curriculum designed to teach children about their God-given value, personal safety, and how to respond when something feels wrong. We believe prevention starts with knowing one’s worth in Christ.

Strategic Partnerships

We collaborate with national and global organizations that specialize in child safety, technology, and social services to enhance prevention infrastructure. Together, we advocate for stronger policies, better reporting systems, and expanded protection for vulnerable populations.

What We Do: Recovery & Restoration

While prevention is critical, we know the fight against child trafficking is incomplete without healing the deep wounds left behind. At Hamata Cares, we are committed to walking with survivors on their journey from trauma to transformation.

Long-Term Journey, Not Just a Moment

We provide access to professional, faith-based counseling for rescued children, offering a safe space to process trauma, build trust, and begin healing. Our approach honors each child’s unique experience and moves at a pace that promotes lasting recovery.

Spiritual Restoration

We provide access to professional, faith-based counseling for rescued children, offering a safe space to process trauma, build trust, and begin healing. Our approach honors each child’s unique experience and moves at a pace that promotes lasting recovery.

Safe Housing & Aftercare Support

Hamata Cares partners with trusted organizations to ensure that rescued children receive safe housing and ongoing aftercare. This includes education, life skills development, mentorship, and reintegration support—creating the conditions needed for a fresh start.

Dynamic Body Balance

We incorporate the Dynamic Body Balance (DBB) technique as part of our holistic recovery model. This gentle, hands-on therapy focuses on restoring neurological, structural, and emotional balance within the body. Many survivors of trafficking carry trauma in their physical bodies, and DBB helps release that trauma, promoting healing from the inside out.
